The obvious striker option for Manchester United is Red Bull Salzburg star Erling Haaland with recent roots claiming that the Norwegian international was at Old Trafford as the club tries to wrap up a deal for him though Ole Gunnar Solskjaer appeared to play down those transfer reports during his pre-match press conference for the league game with hosts and basement club Watford scheduled for the Vicarage Road on Sunday afternoon.
Erling Haaland is not a stranger to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer who gave the 19-year-old striker his debut while they were both at Norwegian top flight side Molde.
