Fallen Premier League giants Manchester United have been handed a timely boost in their quest to sign one of the most coveted players on the European football scene.

Red Bull Salzburg attacker Erling Haaland has established himself as one of the hottest properties in world football after his sensational start to this campaign and he’s a top transfer target for Manchester United.

According to the Daily Mirror, Erling Haaland has informed Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer that he wants to join his youthful revolution at Old Trafford ahead of the winter transfer window in January.

Erling Haaland is no stranger to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer having worked with the ex-Red Devils striker while he was the manager of Norwegian top-flight side Molde.

It was further revealed that his agent Mino Raiola favours a move to Italian Serie A champions Juventus who don’t have the financial might of Manchester United over a transfer that could be as high as £85m.

German Bundesliga duo of RB Leipzig and Borussia Dortmund have already taken him round their respective facilities in the past week in their quest to win the race to sign the young striker who has 28 goals in just 22 games for his team.
