Chelsea star to leave Stamford Bridge in January
Italian Serie A leaders Inter Milan are reportedly closing in on a transfer for ageing Chelsea striker Olivier Giroud according to reports from France.
French World Cup winner Giroud has not been seeing regular match action at Chelsea and that has prompted transfer speculation of a move away from the club during the winter transfer window.
According to the publication from the stables of popular French news outlet L’Equipe, Inter Milan have agreed a deal for Olivier Giroud ahead of the January transfer window.
Inter Milan manager Antonio Conte needs cover in attack for the duo of Romelu Lukaku and Lautaro Martinez and Giroud could be the man for the job.
