Three-time European champions Manchester United have concluded plans to spend a huge agent fee in their bid to sign highly-rated Red Bull Salzburg striker Erling Haaland according to the publication from The Guardian.

Norwegian international star Erling Haaland is one of the most coveted players on the world football stage ahead of the January transfer window.

It was revealed that his agent Mino Raiola will have to pay a huge commission for the transfer to go through and Manchester United are ready to fulfill that condition to finally get their man.

Red Bull Salzburg have slammed a £50m asking price on Erling Haaland amidst the numerous interest in his services despite the fact that he has a release clause of £25m in his current deal with the Austrian Bundesliga champions.

Erling Haaland has spent just one year at Red Bull Salzburg following his transfer from Norwegian club Molde in January 2019.

He has painted European football with goals this season and the young striker is up to 28 goals in 22 games in all competitions since the start of this campaign.

The 19-year-old is one of the highest goalscorer in the Champions League this term with eight goals in just four starts.
