Red Bull Salzburg star Erling Haaland has taken the Champions League by the storm this season after his performance for the Austrian champions in front of goal.

Erling Haaland has scored in all the five Matchdays in the Champions League this season and he could become only the second player to score in all the six group games after Cristiano Ronaldo if the young striker is able to find the back of the net in the home game against reigning champions Liverpool on Matchday Six.

Erling Haaland and his Austrian side need to beat Liverpool to qualify for the next stage of the competition.

The interest of a lot of clubs has been established by several media outlets including CalcioMercato.

It was revealed by a publication from the stables of CalcioMercato that Manchester United are plotting a move for Erling Haaland and that they are ready to splash as much as £55m on the 19-year-old striker in the January transfer window.

Erling Haaland has scored eight goals in his five Champions League games this season and only Robert Lewandowski has a better record than the Norwegian international after he scored ten goals in five group stage games.

In total, Erling Haaland has 27 goals in 20 games in all competitions.
