Erling Haaland

Former Premier League champions Manchester United have reportedly concluded plans to make a bid for highly rated Red Bull Salzburg striker Erling Haaland.

This is according to a publication from ESPN which revealed that the Red Devils will make a bid for Erling Haaland as they try to finally replace Romelu Lukaku.

Manchester United failed to replace the Belgian international after his transfer to Inter Milan in a £74m deal in the summer.

The Red Devils have struggled for goals at times this season in the absence of Romelu Lukaku who has scored nine league goals in 12 Italian Serie A games.

Manchester United will have to fight off several clubs in the hunt to sign Erling Haaland.

Major European sides like Real Madrid, Barcelona, RB Leipzig and North London giants Arsenal have all been mentioned as possible transfer destination for Erling Haaland who has scored 26 goals in just 18 games in all competitions in the colours of his Austrian Bundesliga club.

Erling Haaland is the top scorer in the Champions League this season after netting seven goals from four games including a hat-trick against Belgian top flight side Genk on Matchday 1.

Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski is next with six goals.
