Arsenal Board In Disarray Over Potential Appointment Of Club Legend

The Arsenal board is in disarray following the disagreement over the potential appointment of a former player.
This is according to the report from the Daily Mirror which revealed that the Arsenal board members are divided over the possible appointment of club legend David O’Leary.
Arsenal chairman Sir Chips Keswick wants to welcome David O’Leary into the board in a football advisory role but that move was met by resistance from the head of football operations Raul Sanllehi who believes that the recently appointed technical director Edu is already handling a similar post.
David O’Leary is the record appearance maker for Arsenal after he spent 19 years at the club.

Arsenal are a club in crisis with manager Unai Emery also facing a lot of pressure after the underwhelming start to the new league season in the English top flight.
The Gunners have made their worst start in the league for the first time in almost four decades after a return of just 17 points from the first 12 Premier League games.
The slow start has led Arsenal to a disappointing 6th position after 12 games.
