Manchester United manager Solskjaer is in the danger of losing out on the services of Lyon forward Moussa Dembele due to Everton’s recent interest in the player.
The Red Devils are keeping close tabs on the 23-year-old striker hoping to lure him to Old Trafford when the winter transfer market begins in January.
However, Football Insider revealed that the Toffees are ready to compete with their fellow Premier League side for Dembele’s signature.
The media outlet claimed that the Goodison Park outfits hope to beat United to his services as they are set to meet Lyon’s £40m demand.

Everton are far from perfect so far this season and they currently occupy the 13th position in the League standings upon the completion of all the matchday 12 fixtures.
The poor run of results have placed huge pressure on Marco Silva’s future at the Merseyside club, but his employers are reportedly set to help him improve his attacking department by beating Manchester United to Dembele’s service.
United are also the bottom half of the league standings and they face similar problems as Everton because they haven’t been too impressive at the final half of the pitch.
Solskjaer’s team obviously need a potential goalscorer as soon as possible and they will do everything possible to see that they win the race for the Frenchman.
