Manchester United midfielder Nemanja Matic could end his relationship with the Old Trafford outfits in January due to his lack of game-time.

The Serbian star hasn’t been enjoying regular actions since the start of the season and he could be heading towards the exit door in January.

According to The Manchester Evening News, the midfielder, whose contract with the club expires by the end of this campaign, is increasingly worried about his chances of making Serbia’s squad for next year’s European competition and he is considering moving to a new club where game-time will be guaranteed in the second part of the season.

The 31-year-old star has managed just two starts under the Norwegian boss and his chances of breaking into the starting lineup continue to grow slimmer based on Fred and McTominay’s recent partnership at the base of the midfield.

It is believed that Serie A side Inter Milan are looking at their chances of luring him to the San Siro Stadium in the next transfer window.

Antonio Conte is a great admirer of the combative midfielder having worked with him during their days at Stamford Bridge and he hopes to reunite with the Serbian as soon as possible.
