Three-time European champions Manchester United will have to fend off the threat of Liverpool in the race to sign RB Leipzig striker Timo Werner.
According to Eurosport, the Red Devils are interested in a deal for German international Timo Werner in January.
Manchester United are not the only club keen on a January transfer for Timo Werner who has been one of the best players in the German top flight this term.
Reigning European champions Liverpool are also interested in Werner who’s rated at £27m at the moment.

Both Liverpool and Manchester United were linked with Timo Werner in the summer but the petite attacker stayed at RB Leipzig for the start of this season.
Timo Werner has been in the goals for RB Leipzig this season after netting 13 goals and five assists in 15 games in all competitions this term.
He has scored nine goals and also provided three assists in just 10 German Bundesliga games this season.
The German striker will add the much needed firepower to the Manchester United attack.
England international Marcus Rashford is the leading goalscorer in the Manchester United team in the Premier League this season with just five goals followed by Anthony Martial, Daniel James and Scott McTominay (three goals).
