Former Arsenal midfielder Paul Merson has tipped Premier League champions Manchester City to break the record for win margin.
In his column for Sky Sports, the Arsenal legend said that the Citizens will score more than nine goals against the Saints if they manage to finish up their chances.
The present Premier League win margin record is jointly held by Manchester United and Leicester City after respective 9-0 wins over Ipswich Town and Southampton.
Manchester United set the record against Ipswich Town in 1995 before Leicester City equaled that record last week when they hit Southampton for NINE with two players netting three goals apiece.

James Maddison, Ben Chilwell and Youri Tielemans got the other goals for the Foxes.
Manchester City will host Southampton in one of the week 11 league games on Saturday having already met them in the Carabao Cup in midweek.
The Premier League champions sealed a quarterfinal spot in the competition via a 3-1 win.
