Premier League leaders Liverpool are reportedly plotting a move for highly rated RB Leipzig striker Timo Werner.

This is according to the latest reports coming out of the media in the United Kingdom.

Timo Werner is one of the leading marksmen on the German Bundesliga scene.

According to the specific report from the Daily Express, Liverpool is planning a move for the 50m-rated forward.

Liverpool and German Bundesliga club RB Leipzig already have a good working relationship from the Naby Keita deal in 2018.

RB Leipzig and Liverpool agreed a 55 million pounds deal for Guinean international Naby Keita in the summer of 2017 before the player spent one more season with the Germans.

The midfielder didn’t link up with his new club until the summer of 2018.

Naby Keita has had to battle with injuries in his time at Liverpool.

He recently returned to the team from injury and was part of the Carabao Cup squad that booked a quarterfinal spot in the competition on Wednesday night via the penalty shootout win over North London giants Arsenal.

The Daily Express revealed that Liverpool want to follow the model employed to sign Naby Keita for the Timo Werner transfer.

Liverpool are working on an agreement for Timo Werner with the aim of reaching a deal for them to sign the German and loan him back to RB Leipzig until next summer.
