Real Madrid could miss out on their longtime transfer target Paul Pogba as reports claim that the Los Blancos manager Zinedine Zidane is ready to cool his interest in his compatriot in favor of Chelsea midfielder N’Golo Kante.
The Sun reported this afternoon that the manager is set to pull out of the race for Pogba’s signature due to United’s huge demands.
It was revealed by the same media outlet, during the previous transaction period, that the Red Devils demanded a huge £180m from the Galacticos as part of their strategy to deny the Spanish giants from luring the 26-year-old out of Old Trafford.

The British media now claims that Frank Lampard’s side Chelsea could be the one to lose their star player in January as Zidane is eyeing a possible move for his highly-rated compatriot N’Golo Kante.
Kante has been a source of transfer speculations since last season as he was linked with a move to Ligue 1 Champions Paris St-German and Serie A sides Juventus and Inter Milan.
Considering the current transfer ban, Zidane seems to be embarking on an impossible mission as Lampard wouldn’t want to lose such important player without providing a perfect replacement.
