Manchester United recorded their first Premier League victory since September as they thrashed Norwich City 3-1 on Sunday, thanks to goals from Anthony Martial, Scott McTominay and Marcus Rashord.
The Red Devils midfield setup was without a natural playmaker during the game as Paul Pogba is still out injured while Juan Mata wasn’t given a spot in the starting lineup.
However, summer signing from Swansea Daniel James took it upon himself to feature as the link between the midfield and the attack, which he performed excellently.
His scintillating long pass in the build-up to Marcus Rashord’s goal was one of the creativity missing in the team in recent weeks.
Apart from the assist, his overall performance at the middle of the park means that the youngster could actually be the player many fans wanted to see in Paul Pogba.

Another player who caught the eyes of United fans was Anthony Martial who connected well with his striking partner Rashord during the encounter.
Though the Frenchman missed his spot kick, he was able to redeemed his image when he found the back of the in the 73rd minute of the encounter.
Martial, who joined the Red Devils in 2015 summer window, looked lively and determined throughout the game and he could be the solution to United’s goalscoring problem.
Judging by the display put up by the two players, it won’t be out of place to suggest that the Red Devils faithfuls should be ready to witness a free-scoring United side once again.
