Burnley had stunned hosts Leicester City through Chris Woods against his former club but the Foxes were able to turn the game on its head.
On their part, Chelsea needed a second half goal from Spanish left-back Marcos Alonso to see off Newcastle United whom they best 1-0.
Arsenal don’t have a good away record against Sheffield United in the Premier League with the Gunners winless on previous two visits.
The last visit to Bramall Lane in 2006 ended in a 1-0 win for Sheffield United courtesy the goal from Christian Nade.
