It’s Super Sunday at Old Trafford as United play host to Liverpool in an encounter that has been described ‘a make-or-break’ for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
There is more to the clash than being just a game between long-term rivals, according to reports among the British press, the outcome of the encounter could determine Solskjaer’s fate at the helm of affairs.
As for Liverpool, the result of the game could end their Premier League winning streak.
It could equally reduce their gap at the top of the League table, hence Jurgen Klopp has revealed his desire to name his strongest squad irrespective of the Red Devils’ present form.
Speaking ahead of the game, the former Borussia Dortmund manager told reporters that his players won’t underrate the host despite their uninspiring form since the start of the season.
According to him, it will be a joke to undermine United’s quality ahead of the encounter, though they are not doing too well at the moment.
“… I am 100% sure of the strength of Manchester United. You need momentum in a game and a season and at the moment United don’t have it.
“We respect them as the best Man United we could face and not the Man United people are speaking of during the week.”
Klopp will hope to see his men maintain their fine start to the season which have seen them win eight games from eight matches, scoring 20 goals in the process.
