Fallen giants Manchester United face serious challenge from Premier League rivals Tottenham Hotspur for the right to sign Leicester City midfielder James Maddison next summer.

This is according to the latest reports coming out of the media in the United Kingdom.

England international James Maddison has been one of the best players in the Premier League this season and he has continued to attract the interest of other Premier League sides like Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur.

They have been on his trail since last season.

James Maddison has a very good debut season in the Premier League for Leicester City following his 24 million pounds move from Norwich City at the start of last season.

Norwich City were in the English Championship when James Maddison left the club to join the Foxes last summer.

The Canaries secured promotion to the top flight of English football at the end of the last campaign and without the aforementioned Maddison.

According to the Daily Star, James Maddison is attracting strong interest from both Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur.

It was also revealed that the two clubs will have to pay at least 60 million pounds to have any chance of signing the England international playmaker.
