Man Utd Eyeing Mauricio Pochettino To Replace Solskjaer

Premier League giants Manchester United are reportedly eyeing a replacement for their manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

This is according to the publication from the stables of the UK Sun which revealed that Manchester United are eyeing Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino as a potential replacement for former club striker Solskjaer who has been their manager since December last year.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is under pressure at Manchester United after their average start to the new Premier League season and long-term Manchester United target Pochettino is an option for the Old Trafford outfit if they want a new manager in the dugout.

The aforementioned report said that Manchester United will need at least $50m to prise Mauricio Pochettino from Premier League rivals Tottenham Hotspur.

Mauricio Pochettino is also struggling at Tottenham Hotspur this season and he could leave the North London club this season.

Things have not worked out well for the Argentine tactician since he led Spurs to the Champions League final at the end of last season.

Pochettino and his Tottenham Hotspur players lost 2-0 to Liverpool in that Champions League final.

Ironically, Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United have eight points apiece after six league games of the new season.
