Premier League leaders Liverpool made it six straight wins at the start of the season with a 2-1 win at Chelsea on Sunday evening.
According to Lampard, Brazilian-born Italian international left-back Emerson Palmieri will be out of action until after next month’s international break because of the thigh injury that he sustained during the Liverpool game at the weekend.
Frank Lampard also said that Danish international center-back Andreas Christensen will miss the rest of this month’s action with the injury that he suffered in the first half of the Liverpool game.
Lampard and Chelsea are looking for a first win at home this season after playing four games without a win in both the Premier League and the Champions League.
