Arsenal manager Unai Emery has revealed that he will stick to his style at the club in the face of recent criticisms.
Unai Emery has adopted a ‘play out from the back’ style since he was appointed the Arsenal manager last summer and his approach at the club was questioned after the collapse during the last league game.
Arsenal led 2-0 at the halftime away to bottom club Watford in their last league game before they collapsed defensively.
The Gunners conceded the first goal via a mistake as a result of playing out from the back before Watford equalized in the last ten minutes of the game to earn a share of the points.
Arsenal manager Unai Emery talked about his style of play during his pre-match press conference ahead of Sunday evening’s home game against Aston Villa in the Premier League.
According to him, he will continue to stick to the same style before adding that he would be more flexible.
Unai Emery took responsibility for the collapse against Watford.
The Spanish tactician is in the final year of his contract at Arsenal though the club has the right to offer him an extra year until the end of next season.
