Chelsea manager Frank Lampard paid tribute to Nigerian-born English defender Fikayo Tomori following his performance during the home game against Sheffield United on Saturday.

The Blues played host to Sheffield United in the Premier League in a week four game and Fikayo made his league debut for Chelsea from the start.

Lampard and Chelsea suffered a major heartache after they were pegged back by the Blades in their league clash on Saturday.

After the game, Frank Lampard praised the quality of Fikayo Tomori for his performance against the newly promoted outfit.

During that post-match press conference, Frank Lampard said that Fikayo Tomori merited the full debut he was handed against the Blades.

Chelsea are still looking for their first league win at home after losing a two-goal lead to play a 2-2 draw.

Tammy Abraham was the star of the show for Chelsea after he scored a brace in the first half of the game.

He took his league tally to four goals this season with all those goals coming into the last two games.

Sheffield United got their two goals in the second half through Callum Robinson who scored just after the halftime interval and a Kurt Zouma own goal on the stroke of full-time.
