Spanish La Liga giants Real Madrid have been dealt a major injury blow ahead of their game with Villarreal at the weekend.

Real Madrid will be without playmaker Isco for the Villarreal game after he suffered a muscular injury.

His injury status was revealed via an official statement from Real Madrid earlier on Wednesday.

The latest news is a big blow to Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane who’s already missing the services of players like Eden Hazard, Marco Asensio and many more.

Isco will miss the Villarreal game at the El Madrigal as Real Madrid try to bounce back from the disappointing league result from last weekend.
