New Everton signing Alex Iwobi was satisfied with his outing for the Toffees after he made his debut in the disappointing league defeat to newly promoted team Aston Villa on Friday night.

Alex Iwobi was a second half substitute for Gylfi Sigurdsson during the game.

The former Arsenal winger came on for the Icelandic international playmaker after 61 minutes of the game which ended in a 2-0 away loss for Iwobi and his new club Everton.

Summer signing Wesley and Anwar El-Ghazi scored the goals for host Aston Villa who secured their first win of the season on their return to the English top flight after a one-year absence.

Alex Iwobi took to his official Instagram page to react to his debut for new club Everton.

The Super Eagles of Nigeria player was delighted his first outing for his new club and also expressed his disappointment that the game ended in defeat for the Toffees.
