Real Madrid are keen to sign Neymar before the European transfer market closes in eight days’ time but they face a big problem from arch rivals Barcelona.
Neymar was a former Barcelona player until the summer of 2017 when he moved to PSG for a world-record fee of €220m.
The player wants to return to Barcelona but the Catalan giants are finding it difficult to raise the needed funds for his transfer back to the Nou Camp.
PSG want to recoup the money spent on Neymar’s transfer and they have already turned down several bids from both Barcelona and Real Madrid.
