He missed the second league game at home to Burnley (2-1 win to Arsenal) because of illness.
On the part of Xhaka, the Swiss international missed the Burnley game only due to a back problem.
For hosts Liverpool, the big injury news is the absence of first choice goalkeeper Alisson Becker for the Arsenal game because of an ankle problem.
