Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has had his say on a possible title race advantage over champions Manchester City ahead of their Premier League clash at home to North London giants Arsenal.

Premier League leaders Liverpool host second-placed Arsenal in the final game of Saturday’s league games.

In his pre-match press conference, Klopp was asked about the early advantage over main title contender Manchester City.

Liverpool have a two-point lead over Manchester City at the moment and they are in action before their rivals this weekend.

The Reds will face Arsenal on Saturday evening, while Manchester City will have to face almost 24hrs before they play hosts Bournemouth.

When asked about that advantage, Klopp said its too early to talk about the Premier League title before adding that even February is not the appropriate time to talk about winning the league title.

He went on to say that Liverpool and Manchester City are not the only ones fighting for the league title.

Manchester City have won the last two Premier League titles including that of last season when they finished one point ahead of Liverpool.

The Citizens won the league with 98 points ahead of Liverpool who finished the season with 97 points.
