Manchester United are reportedly losing sleep over the new contract for first choice goalkeeper David De Gea.
According to the publication from the stables of UK Sun, De Gea could keep Manchester United sweating over a new contract until the winter transfer market in January.
David De Gea has an agreement in principle with Manchester United over a new six-year contract but the Spaniard is yet to sign the dotted lines.
For the new contract, David De Gea will earn £350,000 on a weekly basis if he signs the new deal.
The former Atletico Madrid shot stopper is said to be skeptical about the 25% clause in the contract of the Manchester United players.

Manchester United players will have their weekly wages slashed by 25% if the club doesn’t qualify for Champions League football just like what was obtainable last season.
The Red Devils will feature in the Europa League this season after finishing in sixth position at the end of the last Premier League campaign.
Failure to qualify for Europe’s premier club competition means that David De Gea will have his weekly salary slashed from £350,000 to £263,000.
De Gea and Manchester United have started the season well with four points from two league games.
