Spanish La Liga champions Barcelona have reportedly offered €190m for Paris Saint Germain (PSG) attacker Neymar in their quest to re-sign the Brazilian national team player.
This is according to the publication from popular media outlet ESPN.
It was revealed that the five-time European champions are ready to re-sign their former player Neymar on loan.
Barcelona want to sign Neymar on loan for €40m before securing a permanent transfer for him at the end of the loan deal next summer for the sum believed to be around €150m.
PSG won’t accept the latest offer from Barcelona with the French champions only interested in a deal worth €220m for the player.
It is the amount paid for the Brazilian attacker when they signed him from Barcelona two summers ago.
PSG are in the know that Barcelona do not have the necessary funds to pull off a deal for Neymar who has angered club bosses with his desperation to leave the French champions.
PSG are also reluctant to accept installmental payments for Neymar who has spent just two seasons at the Parc des Princes.
During his time at PSG, Neymar has scored 51 goals in 58 appearances.
The 27-year-old is still recovering from an ankle injury sustained in July.
