Former Chelsea striker Andriy Shevchenko has released a strong 24-man squad for the upcoming friendly games against Nigeria and Lithuania.
Andriy Shevchenko is the Ukraine national team manager at the moment and the ex-AC Milan and Dynamo Kiev striker will be in charge of the September games against the Super Eagles of Nigeria and European country Lithuania.
Nigeria will face Ukraine on September 10 in their first game after this summer’s African Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament in Egypt.
Ndidi was an important part of the Super Eagles team that finished the tournament in third position after the 1-0 win over the Carthage Eagles of Tunisia in their 3rd/4th place playoff.
