Liverpool forward Sadio Mane, Barcelona superstar Lionel Messi and Juventus talisman Cristiano Ronaldo have all been nominated for the UEFA Forward of the Year.
The trio were named by UEFA earlier on Thursday.
Sadio Mane scored four goals for Liverpool enroute their Champions League winning campaign last season.
The Senegalese international is not the only Liverpool player on the list of nominees for respective UEFA Awards for last season’s Champions League campaign.
Liverpool shot stopper Alisson Becker also made the list of nominees for the Goalkeeper of the Year alongside the duo of Marc Andre Ter Stegen (Barcelona FC of Spain) and Hugo Lloris (Tottenham Hotspur FC of England).

Liverpool skipper Jordan Henderson also made the list of nominees.
The Reds captain made the Midfielder of the Year list alongside Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Christian Eriksen and new Barcelona signing Frenkie De Jong who played for Dutch Eredivisie giants Ajax Amsterdam last season.
De Jong was a key player for Ajax in their amazing run to the Champions League semifinals.
Lastly, Liverpool and Dutch national team defender Virgil Van Dijk made the list of nominees for Defender of the Year alongside club teammate Trent Alexander-Arnold and Ajax Amsterdam defender Matthijs De Ligt.
