Merseyside giants Everton have entered the race to sign Crystal Palace winger Wilfried Zaha during this summer’s transfer window.

This is according to sources close to Sky Sports which claimed that Everton have joined Arsenal in the race to sign Zaha who wants to leave Crystal Palace this summer.

It was revealed that Everton will hold talks on that possibility of signing Zaha in the coming days.

Arsenal are in pole position to sign £80m-rated Zaha this summer but they will have to deal with the threat of clubs like Bayern Munich and Everton.

The Bavarian giants were the first club mentioned as rival to Arsenal for Zaha before the latest development involving Everton.

The Toffees are one winger short after Ademola Lookman joined German Bundesliga outfit, RB Leipzig, this summer.

Everton are looking to sign a new winger to replace the Nigerian-born English player and Wilfried Zaha is a suitable option for them.

Zaha is presently on holiday after his exertions with the Ivorian national team this summer.

He was part of the Ivory Coast squad that crashed out of this year’s African Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament in Egypt at the quarterfinal stage.

Zaha and Ivory Coast were eliminated by eventual champions Algeria.
