Scottish champions Celtic have rejected an offer from Premier League giants Arsenal for one of their defenders.
Arsenal have made the signing of a new left-back top priority this summer and Celtic defender Kieran Tierney is said to be the top transfer target for that position.
The Gunners had earlier made an opening offer of £15m for Tierney which was swiftly rejected by Celtic.
The Scottish champions want an upfront transfer fee of £25m before they can sanction the move for Kieran Tierney who’s highly rated in and around European football.

According to the Daily Record, the Gunners made a second offer for the Scottish international left-back at the weekend and that it has been rejected just like the first bid.
The second offer from Arsenal is an upfront transfer fee of £18m plus £7m in add-ons totaling the £25m fee demanded by Celtic but it was turned down by the Scottish champions.
Celtic want an upfront payment of £25m rather than the latest Arsenal offer of £18m.
Another bid closer to the upfront payment of £25m is expected from Arsenal in the coming days.
Arsenal manager Unai Emery is keen to add a new left-back to his squad before the new season.
