North London giants Arsenal have reportedly made a big bid for Gremio forward Everton Soares.

This is according to the latest reports emanating from the media in the United Kingdom.

Arsenal are in the market for a new forward and Everton Soares has been targeted by the North Londoners ahead of the new season billed to start in the next three weeks.

According to the specific report from The Sun, the Gunners have made a £35m for the player and that club officials have flown to his native Brazil to close out the deal.

Everton Soares recently impressed for the Brazilian national team that won this year’s COPA America tournament on home soil.

He was the man-of-the-match during the final which ended in a 3-1 win over Peru.

Arsenal have tried and failed to sign a forward this summer.

But, now it seems the deal will be sealed and the player is keen to join the Gunners.

It is confirmed that Arsenal have sent doctors to Brazil to examine the player’s medical condition and they will arrive in Porto Alegre tomorrow to conduct the tests.
