The future of Philippe Coutinho is in serious danger at Barcelona after the Spanish champions confirmed the signing of Antoine Griezmann on Friday.
Barcelona have signed French World Cup winner Griezmann from fellow Spanish La Liga club Atletico Madrid after they paid his release clause.
Griezmann had a release clause of €120m (£107m) in his contract at Atletico Madrid whom he spent five years with on the back of his transfer from Real Sociedad.
He has signed a five-year contract at Barcelona with a release clause of €800m.
The new development at Barcelona means that the future of the aforementioned Coutinho is in serious doubt as new signing Antoine Griezmann is expected to link up with both Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez.

The former Liverpool player shared the responsibility of the third and final forward spot with Ousmane Dembele.
Philippe Coutinho has not been able to find his best form at Barcelona since his £142m move from Liverpool at the start of last year.
He has previously been linked with a move away from the club and the new development as regards the signing of Antoine Griezmann will definitely intensify those transfer rumors.
Paris Saint Germain (PSG), Manchester United and Liverpool are few of the clubs that he has been linked with in recent times.
