West London giants Chelsea have slapped a £6m asking price on defender Kenneth Omeruo amidst the transfer rumours linking him with several clubs this summer.

According to the publication from ReadChelsea, The Blues are not ready to sanction a permanent deal for Nigerian international Kenneth Omeruo unless they receive at least £6m for him.

Kenneth Omeruo has spent various loan spells across Europe from England to Spain to Turkey to the Netherlands.

The 25-year-old spent last season on loan at Spanish La Liga side Leganes and he impressed a great deal as the club conveniently survived relegation at the end of the season.

Leganes want to sign Kenneth Omeruo to a permanent deal during this summer’s transfer window though they face stiff competition from fellow Spanish top flight club Celta Vigo.

The Chelsea loanee is yet to make an appearance for the Stamford Bridge outfit since joining the club in 2012.

Omeruo has spent the majority of his Chelsea career away from Stamford Bridge.

In his recent interview at the ongoing African Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament in Egypt, Kenneth Omeruo confirmed that he has decided to move from Chelsea permanently.

According to him, his target is to secure a move from Chelsea permanently rather than go out on loan.
