Manchester United stars Romelu Lukaku and Paul Pogba are set for showdown talks with manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer this week.

According to sources close to the ESPN, the two Manchester United players will meet with their manager amidst the interest transfer rumours surrounding the two players.

French World Cup winner Paul Pogba has been linked with both Juventus and Real Madrid this summer.

The 26-year-old has already talked about the need for a new challenge this summer and that has prompted serious transfer talks with the likes of the aforementioned European giants.

The Frenchman will return to Manchester United later this week after his visit to the Adidas store in New York.

He will meet with Solskjaer to talk about his future upon his arrival to Manchester.

Pogba has three years left on his current deal with Manchester United and the Red Devils are under no pressure to sell him.

The player has been told that manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is keen to retain his services beyond this summer.

For Romelu Lukaku, the Belgian international has returned to preseason training despite the interest in him from Italian Serie A giants Inter Milan.

The 26-year-old wants his future resolved before Manchester United travel to Australia next week for the next phase of their preseason training.
