Crystal Palace Reject £40m Arsenal Bid For Wilfried Zaha

South London outfit Crystal Palace have rejected the opening bid from Arsenal for their star player as the current transfer window hots up.
Ivorian international star Wilfried Zaha is undoubtedly the star player at Crystal Palace and the Academy graduate is said to be attracting serious interest from North London giants Arsenal.
The Gunners firmed up their interest in Zaha on Monday with an opening offer of £40m which was swiftly turned down by Crystal Palace officials who are holding out for at least £100m with the knowledge that Manchester United have a 25% sell-on clause capped at £15m.

This means that Manchester United can only be paid £15m at most from the sell-on clause for Zaha irrespective of the transfer fee he commands in a move to another club.
Wilfried Zaha rejoined Crystal Palace permanently in 2015 after he had spent two years as a Manchester United player.
The 26-year-old was unsuccessful at Manchester United on the back of his £15m move from Crystal Palace in 2015.
Zaha is determined to prove himself at a top club again and he has told senior Crystal Palace officials to negotiate with Arsenal to make his dream move a reality.
The Ivorian attacker recently admitted that he supported Arsenal as a boy.
