Ajax Amsterdam defender Matthijs De Ligt has snubbed Premier League giants Manchester United according to BBC journalist David Ornstein.
It was revealed that the Dutch international centre back is not interested in a move to Manchester United.
The well respected BBC journalist also confirmed that only Manchester United have made a concrete offer to sign Matthijs De Ligt.
Manchester United want to sign a new central defender this summer and Ajax Amsterdam skipper De Ligt is their top transfer target.
Other clubs have made verbal offers for Matthijs De Ligt according to David Ornstein but none is concrete like what’s obtainable with the offer from Manchester United.

Apart from Manchester United, Matthijs De Ligt has also been linked with major European sides like Italian Serie A champions Juventus, French giants Paris Saint Germain (PSG) and Spanish champions Barcelona.
Italian Serie A champions Juventus are the favourites to sign him according to latest reports after the player accepted the verbal offer made by the Italian champions.
De Ligt came to European prominence as the skipper of the Ajax Amsterdam side that conquered all in the Champions League until the semifinals.
Matthijs De Ligt and Ajax Amsterdam also won two major trophies namely the Dutch Eredivisie title and the Dutch Cup title.
