Premier League giants Manchester United are said to be considering Sevilla striker Wissam Ben Yedder as a possible replacement for star striker Romelu Lukaku who’s closing in on a move to Italian Serie A giants Inter Milan.
This is according to the publication from the stables of the Daily Mirror which revealed that the Red Devils are already considering their options in the event that Lukaku leaves this summer.
The Belgian international star had already agreed on personal terms with Inter Milan as per the reports emanating from the Italian media and he’s waiting for the Italians to agree on a transfer fee for him with Manchester United holding out for €80m.
The aforementioned report also added that Sevilla value French international striker Wissam Ben Yedder at around £36m.
Wissem Ben Yedder has made four appearances for the world champions.
He’s no stranger to the Manchester United fans after he scored twice in March 2018 to eliminate the Red Devils from Champions League football.
Apart from Manchester United, major European sides like Paris Saint Germain (PSG) and Barcelona have all been linked with the 28-year-old.
Wissem Ben Yedder has scored 36 goals in 91 Spanish La Liga games since his move to Sevilla from French club Toulouse in 2016.
