Genk star Leandro Trossard is closing in on a move to Premier League club Brighton and Hove Albion after the player flew into the United Kingdom (UK) for his medical on Tuesday morning.
Leandro Trossard was previously a transfer target of North London giants Arsenal and newly promoted Premier League club Aston Villa.
The 24-year-old is on the verge of sealing a big money move to the Premier League after Brighton agreed on a deal with his club Genk.
Both clubs had earlier agreed on a deal of around £18m for the 24-year-old Belgian attacker.
Leandro Trossard was strongly linked with a move to Arsenal during the winter transfer window in January but the Gunners were unable to seal a deal for him.
Arsenal wanted to sign the Genk player on loan during the January transfer window but the proposal was met with resistance from the Belgian club.
Leandro Trossard scored 14 goals and also provided seven assists for Genk in 34 games in all competitions during the recently concluded season.
In addition, the Belgian attacker scored eight goals in 11 appearances in the Europa League this season.
In total, the player scored 22 goals for Genk as well as seven assists in 45 games over two competitions namely the Belgian top flight league and the Europa League.
