North London club Tottenham Hotspur have slammed a £25m asking price on one of their defenders.

According to the publication from The Telegraph, Kieran Trippier is attracting the interest of clubs at home and abroad and Spurs will demand £25m for him.

England international Trippier was previously linked with Italian Serie A giants Napoli and Premier League heavyweights Manchester United before the latest transfer interest from Italian champions Juventus.

Kieran Trippier was widely regarded as one of the best right-backs on the Premier League scene at the end of the 2017/18 season.

The 28-year-old then went on to play a significant role for the Three Lions of England at the 2018 FIFA World Cup tournament in Russia.

He was part of the England team that finished fourth at the end of the tournament and even scored during the defeat to Croatia in the last four.

The former Burnley player didn’t have the best of seasons for Tottenham Hotspur during the just concluded campaign though he still played his part for Spurs who reached the final of Europe’s premier club competition.

Kieran Trippier and Tottenham Hotspur reached the Champions League final before they were beaten by Premier League rivals Liverpool via a 2-0 win courtesy goals from Mohamed Salah (penalty) and substitute Divock Origi.
