Juventus midfielder Sami Khedira has been transfer-listed at the club as new manager Maurizio Sarri tries to stamp his authority on the team.

According to the publication from Tuttosport, the German international is on the transfer list alongside Blaise Matuidi.

32-year-old Khedira was previously a transfer target for the Gunners but the North London giants were unable to reunite him with Mesut Ozil at club level.

Ozil and Khedira played together at club level at the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu, home of Real Madrid, before the former made a then club-record move to Arsenal in 2013.

The Gunners record has since been broken twice when Alexandre Lacazette and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang sealed their transfers to Arsenal in July 2017 and January 2018 respectively.

Sarri is eyeing a revamp of the Juventus midfielder with Sami Khedira and Blaise Matuidi likely to be victims.

The former Chelsea manager wants to sign Adrien Rabiot from Paris Saint Germain (PSG) and Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba.

Rabiot will be a free agent in the coming days as his current deal will expire this summer and recent reports claimed that Juventus have already offered him a contract worth £6m per annum.

For Paul Pogba, a move for the Frenchman will be more tricky with Manchester United not willing to sanction it.
