New Juventus player Aaron Ramsey has reportedly been given a shirt number ahead of his unveiling billed for the Juventus Stadium next month.

This is according to the publication from Tribal Football which claimed that the former Arsenal midfielder will wear the same jersey number eight at his new club.

Aaron Ramsey wore jersey number eight while he was at Arsenal till this summer and the Welsh international star is expected to continue with the same shirt number at the Juventus Stadium.

The Welshman will officially join Juventus on a free transfer on the 1st of July.

Ramsey ended his ten-year stay in North London this summer after his Arsenal contract expired.

He has agreed on a four-year deal with Juventus worth £400,000 on a weekly basis thus making him the highest paid player amongst the British footballers.

Aaron Ramsey joined Arsenal as a teenager in 2008 when the Gunners won the race to sign him from Welsh club Cardiff City ahead of Premier League rivals Manchester United.

The North Londoners paid £4.8m for his transfer and he turned out to be a very good signing for the Gunners.

Aaron Ramsey ended his Arsenal career with three FA Cup titles and two FA Cup final winners.
