Europa League finalists Arsenal have agreed personal terms with highly rated Lorient attacker Alexis Claude-Maurice according to the report from popular media platform Goal.
It was revealed that the Gunners are closing in on a move for the young French striker but they still have to reach an agreement with his club.
Arsenal have had two bids rejected for the winger with Lorient holding out for £18m for one of their prized assets.
The Gunners have a good working relationship with Lorient from previous transfers involving French centre back Laurent Koscielny and young French midfielder Matteo Guendouzi.

Laurent Koscielny has been an Arsenal player since his £8.45m move from Lorient in 2009 though his time in North London might be coming to an end.
The retired French international defender has one year left on his Arsenal deal at the moment and new contract talks have broken down.
Borussia Dortmund have enquired about signing Koscielny whom Arsenal have slapped an asking price of £10.6m on.
Arsenal also signed Matteo Guendouzi from Lorient last summer in a deal reported to be around €7m and the young midfielder has been a revelation on the back of his impressive performances for the Gunners during the just concluded season.
