Italian Serie A champions Juventus have reportedly held talks with Manchester United as they plot to re-sign star player Paul Pogba this summer.

According to Sky Sports Italia, Juventus sporting director Fabio Paratici held the first serious talks for French World Cup winner Pogba.

It was also revealed that Portuguese right-back Joao Cancelo was a part of the discussion.

Paul Pogba was previously on the books of Juventus for four years between 2012 and 2016 following his free transfer move from Premier League giants Manchester United.

The 26-year-old returned to the Theatre of Dreams in the summer of 2016 for a then world-record fee of £89m.

Pogba has not been able to realise his full potentials at Manchester United and he has been linked with a move away from the Old Trafford outfit this summer.

He was linked with Spanish champions Barcelona last summer shortly after his superb form helped France on their way to winning the 2018 FIFA World Cup tournament in Russia.

Pogba stayed at Manchester United despite the intense transfer interest from Barcelona and he went on to score 16 goals in all competitions during the just concluded season.

The French midfielder is also attracting from another Spanish giant in Real Madrid this summer.
