Spanish La Liga club Valencia have reportedly joined the race to sign Newcastle United forward Ayoze Perez during this transfer window.
This is according to Spanish radio COPE which revealed that his agent has been in touch with Valencia over a move this summer.
The 25-year-old has previously revealed that there will be options for him during this summer’s transfer window while he was answering questions over his future at the club as far back as April.
Ayoze Perez was previously linked with North London giants Arsenal but it looks like the Gunners have moved on to other forward options like Ryan Fraser and Yannick-Ferreira Carrasco.

Ryan Fraser plays his club football for fellow Premier League club Bournemouth at the moment, while the aforementioned Carrasco is on the books of Chinese Super League outfit Dalian Yifang.
Arsenal are in the market for a new wing forward in the wake of the exit of Danny Welbeck who has left the North Londoners upon the expiration of his contract.
The England international star is now a free agent as a result.
Ayoze Perez was one of the best players for Newcastle United during the just concluded season.
He scored 12 goals and also provided two assists for the Magpies in 37 League games during the just concluded campaign.
