Latest reports have revealed that English Premier League outfit Chelsea could land their desire of securing the signature of Brazilian international Philippe Coutinho in the summer transfer window.
This is after it was claimed that the former Liverpool player handed a transfer request to Spanish La Liga outfit Barcelona after enduring a very difficult season.
Philippe Coutinho was a great player at Liverpool but he had forced a move out of Anfield which now seems to be a regrettable decision for him.

- Chelsea wait to seek permission before signing this player on permanent deal
The West London outfit have been linked to secure the signature of the Star Player and that could be happening anytime soon with the report that he has officially handed a transfer request
Chelsea might only be hindered by the transfer ban on the club as they have been told by the world football governing body FIFA that they will not be able to register a new player for the next two transfer windows
It has been reported that Chelsea will appeal the ban but the Court of Arbitration for Sport has confessed that no request has been received from the West London outfit for an appeal of the ban.
This, therefore, means that Chelsea will have to go through the next two summer transfer windows without any new signing
