Europa League finalists Arsenal will have to fend off the threat of Spanish clubs in the bid to sign Eibar midfielder Joan Jordan this summer.
According to trusted Spanish publication Marca, the Gunners want to sign the 24-year-old as they try to bolster their squad after a disappointing end to the just-concluded campaign.
Arsenal recorded just four points from the possible 15 points at the end of the Premier League season thereby missing on Champions League football for next season via the league route before losing 4-1 to London rivals Chelsea in the Europa League final.
A win over Chelsea in that final would have given them a spot in next season’s Champions League.
