North London giants Arsenal have received a major transfer boost in their bid to sign Sampdoria midfielder Dennis Praet according to the latest reports emanating from the media in Belgium.
Dennis Praet has emerged as a top transfer target for the Gunners who are keen to strengthen their midfield ahead of the new season billed to start in August.
According to Belgian media outlet HLN, Dennis Praet has been told that he can leave the club this summer amidst the strong interest from the Premier League.
Three-cap Belgian international player Praet scored two goals and also provided three assists in 34 games in the Italian Serie A during the just concluded season as Sampdoria finished the campaign inside the top eight.

In total, he made 37 appearances for Sampdoria in all competitions.
Recent reports claimed that Sampdoria rejected €42m for the duo of Dennis Praet and Joachim Andersen.
Arsenal have a good relationship with Sampdoria after the sale of Uruguayan international player Lucas Torreira last summer.
The Gunners paid £26m to sign the aforementioned Torreira at the start of the just-concluded season and the North Londoners could return to the Italian Serie A club for two of his former teammates, Dennis Praet and Joachim Andersen.
