Immediate past European champions Real Madrid still retain an interest in Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba despite the busy start to summer.

French World Cup winner Pogba has been linked with a move to the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu after a topsy-turvy campaign at Manchester United.

Paul Pogba endured a largely frustrating season despite the fact that he was one of the best players for Manchester United.

He scored 16 goals in all competitions for Manchester United with 13 of those goals coming in the Premier League.

The €160m-rated Pogba has previously talked up a dream move to Real Madrid though Italian champions Juventus are also interested in re-signing the French midfielder.

The 26-year-old returned to Manchester United in 2016 after four years at Juventus.

The Red Devils paid a then world-record fee of £89m to secure his signing.

Real Madrid have signed several players already this summer as the Zinedine Zidane revolution kicks in at the club, but they are still considering a move for the aforementioned Pogba according to the publication from the stables of popular media outlet Goal.

Real Madrid have already signed the Brazilian duo of Eder Militao and Rodrygo Goes as well as Serbian international star Luka Jovic.
